Istanbul has always been on top of my list. End of March I spent 48hours in this magic & vibrant city. I met Erk Erkaya and Uemit Agguel, Co-Founders of Locally Istanbul and fell in love with their passionated concept creating tailor-made city-tours based on ones personal interests and moods. Erk picked me up on sunday morning and right from the first moment I felt like catching up with a friend taking me around his home-town. We sat down in a cafe and I told him that I was looking for art & antique boutiques. He showed me around galleries in Galatasaray and made me explore the bohemian culture of Istanbul. I tried to capture these impressions in my pictures. At the end of the day I felt like having spent a week in Istanbul. I got to discover places which would have taken me several days to find them out myself.
