Lisbon | Relaxing at Memmo Alfama

August, 2015

I have just come back from an amazing 3 days trip in Lisbon. Seeking for some relaxation I’ve chosen Memmo Alfama to be my home during these days. The laid-back ambience and breathtaking panoramic view over Lisbon made me wanna stay here forever. This place felt like home immediately and brought me into a deep relaxing mood. What I find most inspiring at Memmo Alfama is the combination of minimalist design and authentic atmosphere. The location couldn't be better: right in the heart of Lisbon's Arab quarter called Alfama, surrounded by charming restaurants, boutiques and close to the Museum of Design and Fashion, MUDE. A must go & try while staying in Lisbon: Casa Pasteis De Belem: world famous traditional portuguese cakes - delicioso!

FAVORITE SPOTS:

Contemporary art: Museu Berardo, just in front of Monastery of Jerónimos
Museum of design and fashion: MUDE

RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATION:

Delicious and very cool vibe: The Decadente, it is actually inside a hostel!
On of my favorite places: Cantinho do Avillez
Oldest and most traditional restaurant in Lisbon: Tavares
Don't miss to stop at Casa Pasteis De Belem
